Embarrassing moment!!!!

So I know that this is totally normal and also very human to do, however it was super embarrassing for me and many of you may laugh and I guess that's okay ill probably laugh about it later as well....so have a little laugh at my incident lol

I had a cold this weekend which made me sneeze like crazy, I also felt super bloated and the runny nose did not help. My fiance and I decided not to do anything for the day but watch movies all days. Then I start sneezing like crazy and I farted I had never before done that in from of him before...it was so embarrassing I started crying and I wanted to go hide probably a childish behavior but it was embarrassing for me it was just out of my control due to the sneezing. He was pretty nice about it since he knew I was so embarrassed about it....I know I probably shouldn't of cried about it but it was embarrassing. And that was my moment I should probably get over it by now lol

My husband and I have been together 6 years and I've never farted in front of him, unless I did it in my sleep or something. I'm not sure what farting has to do with being official but I don't feel the need to share all of my bodily functions with him. Now he farts all the time in front of me, but I don't with him. I also don't poop in front of him or go to the bathroom with the door open. I just come from the school of thought that yes everyone poops and farts, but not everything needs to be shared with each other.

I just always blame the cat when I fart. I suppose now I can just blame the baby, it was his fart! Don't feel bad about crying though. I cry at everything nowadays. I teared up yesterday because my husband went to ask for sweet sauce when we were at Panda Express and all the staff were ignoring him. It was for me and I just felt so bad that he was being ingnored. But it was a crazy thing to cry at! So,I'd say no worries about the tears.

I hate to break it to you, but if your pregnancy has been anything like mine, you have probably had some very loud farts while you sleep.

Pre-pregnancy I was not a gasy person, but wowzers, this baby making has turned me extremely gasy. In fact, I often wake myself up because of a fart or burp. Embarrassing, perhaps.....but I think it is just par for the course with baby making.

Andplusalso... before I got pregnant MH and I used to wrestle and try to fart in each other's face...  lol

I feel like DH makes it a personal mission to fart near me as much as possible lol. I don't intentionally do it around him but I don't stop it either.

No wonder why you're bloated! You need to be able to fart! Haha now hopefully it will be a normal thing.

I think in the first couple weeks of my relationship with my now husband I told him it's okay to fart in front of me. Luckily he doesn't do it all that often!

You will do much worse in front of him in September. I have usually conquered the farting thing during the dating portion and well before we got engaged, much less married. Farting while showing together is much worse because it STINKS. Lol

I know how you feel. The only time I have ever farted in front of dh to this day, was during delivery. I had a super strong epi and heard a little berrrp sound. I looked at him to blame him and he had really wide eyes! I asked 'was that me?!!!' ... He has never let me live it down. I wasn't even pushing! I just had no muscle control to keep it in!

Plus my hubby did it on the 4th date while taking a walk with me. His complete comfort with himself apparently came with farting side effects. I held off for quite a lot longer than the 4th date but he just thinks it's cute so i don't care

My XH used to do this on purpose because he knew it grossed me out. I used to have to hang my head outside of the shower curtain!

I would've been a little embarassed, too. DH farts in front of me alllll the time (in fact, he did in front of my mother the other day! He was watching TV and I think he forgot she was there).

I know it's a bodily function and blah blah blah, but it's really something I don't like to do in front of him and will hold it in if I have to. With that said, I have had a few AWFUL ones since being pg that have snuck out and almost killed both of us.

Aw you poor thing! I can totally relate I'd be mortified. My hubby and I are going on five years and no bodily functions yet. And we have a DD. And no I didn't poop on the table, got a wonderful cleansing before delivery so everything was smooth sailing.

I actually farted ON my husband by accident when we were first dating. I was mortified but that pretty much opened up a world of gas!

oh man I farted in front of my DH on our first date.

He also saw me pick my nose before our first date. we were on webcam while I was working on my homework, so he was minimized and I forgot I was on cam... I thought we were on the phone. All the sudden he asks if I just picked my nose... so glad I use kleenex when I have hard pieces lol.

You all just made my night.

I have really mixed feelings about farts. I usually let 'em rip. I will try not to do it in public, but if I hurt I will. When anyone else farts I could seriously have an anxiety attack over it. When you fart you release poop particles into the air and they then get into my nose and also into my MOUTH. I have to fight off vomiting when I smell someone else's fart. Annnd this is exactly what I would explain to anyone that would question my reaction to their fart. I have hard time using a towel that is in the open in my OWN bathroom.

I cannot believe there are so many people who won't fart in front of their husband or s/o. If he can let one rip in front of me, I can do it in front of him. Farts happen and the more you hold it in the worse they smell. It's science y'all. Gas needs to come out one way or the other. I think one of the true joys of marriage is inflicting this discomfort on the person you love.

Totally this, if I can't live my life as I would when alone in the house with DH I wouldn't feel comfortable sharing my life with him.

Also, you poop and pee in the same room you brush your teeth in, maybe there are poop particles on the towel and toothbrush, but they haven't done any harm yet so why let it bother you.

But yeah, I agree. I don't understand how you don't after you've been together so long. I mean, what if you are laying there watching a movie before bed? You actually get out of bed and leave the room to have gas?

I would go to a different room to relieve myself when I was dating the baby's father. I'm alone now so I can do it whenever I feel like it and not have to worry about anything haha. But he wouldn't have cared if I passed gas in front of him but it would happen so often I didn't want him to think something was wrong with me! Even though he was always gassy! Oh well he's not in the picture now so i don't have to hold it in for hours

My DH doesn't fart in front of me either! I mean, we've each had some moments when it happened but it's not like either of us let big ones rip on purpose.

I just let it out. He married me, he knows. The pregnancy farts smell really horrible so I try to warn him not to come close. But it's natural and we all do it. I will not censor myself, he surely doesn't. We laugh a lot about it anyway.
