  The Eureka is probably better but there are a few kids toys that "work".  Dirt Devil Junior is one.  I think there is a dyson one too but I couldn't find it easily.

  I ended up with a Bissel..  he is fine till you turn it on ...then he had a cow, but that's probably because he was tired.  The one  thing I was looking for was something that had no moving rollers or brushes under the head, lil fingers get curious. 
  I didnt even bother putting the handle on it it is the perfect height as as handheld ... Now if I can just get him to understand the concept of .. baby+high chair = mess, clean hands and face, brush teeth, vacuum floor. Done!
