It's too soon to tell friends, I can't shout with joy in the office and I've already called my wife but I just needed somewhere to say "I'm pregnant!!!" After many unsuccessful ICIs and IUIs, our first IVF cycle worked and I just got back my beta results today 9dp5dt 205! All the hell was worth it! Now we just hope hope hope that this embryos sticks around.

ER 5/17/13: 21 eggs, 14 mature, 11 fertilized w/ ICSI
ET 5/22/13: 2 blasts transferred, 2 frozen
BFP on HPT 5/29/13! Beta #1: 205 Beta #2: 608
...hope and stay positive until OB ultrasound on 6/24/13

Congrats and welcome to our community - there are a few of us IVF'ers here and two I can think of who are currently pregnant (one carrying her wife's baby!).
There is a pregnancy check-in for all the pregnant peeps on Mondays where you can check-in, and also get to know the other folks.

New Plan: Reciprocal IVF, me as carrier wife's eggs. Just went through insurance and received partial approval, so my part will go through my IVF benefits and wife's part will be out of pocket. Now just finalizing finance plans to cover the oop costs. Doctors office is in process of moving to a new building so there are no IVF start ups until March/April 2015.
