We have a dog, Nico. He is 6 years old and a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. I had a pic of him in my siggy but I just took it out a couple days ago. He looks like a mini golden retriever.
We also have a 3 year old gold fish we call Petey after Adrian Peterson.
I have two labs, a chocolate and a black and I love them more than pretty much anything, besides my husband!
My black lab is 6 years old and my chocolate is 2 and they are best friends.
They love to swim, I mean LOVE to swim!
My Babies! Tried for one full year before we got our BFP!
What I want is what I've not got, but what I need is all around me -DMB
I have two pups. I have a picture of each of them in my siggy.
Wilson (the one trying to eat the pumpkin) will be 5 in a couple months. I got him for my H as a Christmas present in 2008. Wilson is a love bug! He can get really hyper though, which is fun! He loves treats, going outside and pestering his sister!! haha
Piper is our little deer. Our neighbor's dog had puppies late last summer and H and I had been wanting another dog for Wilson because we felt he needed someone to play with and keep him company. On Halloween when our neighbors came by with their son for trick or treating, they brought Piper! Best treat ever. Piper is a snuggle bug!! She loves to play too!
Wilson and Piper are so great together. The sleep and play together and often give each other baths. It warms my heart to see them get along so well!

My huskies are in my siggy. Chevy is on the left and Sasha is on the right. They're so awesome. They're both really sweet and snuggly and very playful.
We have a 4 year old shepherd/rot/chow mix named Darcy. While she sounds like she should be a really vicious dog, she is the biggest baby ever. She is my 65 lb lap dog.
We also have a 2 year old orange and white tabby named Ginger. DH found her when she was only 4 weeks old in the parking lot at his work. Ginger is definitely a nosy cat. She gets into everything! Her saving grace is that she is so stinking cute and loves to cuddle with me.
They are in my siggy and here are a few more pics...

I have 2 cats. One's a Tuxedo (he's just missing the bowtie) and his name is Felix and the other is mostly white with black (looks like a California Happy Cow). His name is Oreo.
We just adopted a lab/basset hound puppy. This is apparently a known mix (people call it a bassador). She is about three months old and is the cutest thing! She looks like a golden retriever/lab puppy with short basset hound legs. We were in love with her the second we saw her... When we had to put her back in crate at the shelter (to fill out paper work), she literally clung to me and cried!! She is a happy energetic pup now.... It will be interesting to see what she ends up looking like. A quick google search for bassador brought up a few scary pics!! Her name is Phoebe and her pic is in my siggy
We have an Irish terrier mix, we think she is mixed with a jack russell, but not sure. We named her Starbuck, from Battlestar Galactica. She is very hyper but loves to cuddle!
Our chocolate lab is named Henry and he is a year old. He is hilarious, he follows me around everywhere I go (he is rarely more than about two feet away from me when I'm at home.), he loves cuddling, he needs to be included every time DH and I hug, he hates when people dance, he doesn't like water (yet) and is afraid of motorcycles, he licks peoples feet after he takes a drink...every single time, and he understands pointing. I adore him.
This is fun! I have 2 cats and 2 dogs (1 male and 1 female of each species) and I love them so much.
We adopted our female cat first when she was about 8 weeks old (she is 4 now) her name is Daphne:
We adopted our second cat when he was about 5 weeks old (he's 3 now) and his name is Charles. He followed my parents home one day and they gave him to me. He spent the first 3 months (before DH then BF moved to where I was) with me in my bedroom. He thinks I'm his mom and we are completely in love.
We then adopted our first dog a year later when she was 7 months old (she's 3 now) and her name is Zoe. She is a collie beagle mix we think. She is way too smart and naughty. When we adopted her she had pneumonia but we didn't know it. We thought she had energy but she was young and it didn't seem too bad. She had energy with pneumonia. Then after getting her better she became a "devil dog" as my mom likes to call her. But she's gotten a lot better now that she's getting older and can also be the sweetest dog in the world.
Then 2 years later we adopted our second dog when he was 8 months old (now he's a year) and his name is Rex. We think he is a pug shepard mix and he is the goofiest dog in the world. Everything about him just melts your heart. He is so dump and he spends more of his time wiggling in joy, but he also the biggest lover and just wants to cuddle.

We have a 6 year old Boxer named Casey. She's sweet as can be with DS, but is a handful and has some pretty bad anxiety issues. We adopted her a few years ago and she just hasn't figured out that we aren't going to leave her We can't go outside and leave her in the house without her pacing and panting. She's crated during the day since we can't trust her to be alone in the house, but one of us stops home for lunch as often as we can to give her a break. But, she's very friendly, loves people and kids and makes us laugh all the time! She's infamous for her late night sprints around the house and the most God-awful dog breath ever.
We have a 6 y/o cairn terrier, Mocha (she's in my siggy). She brings us so much joy and amusement. She's always doing something funny or quirky
I've been on a mission lately to convince my DH that Mocha needs a buddy. I really want her to have a companion, and I'm also dying to have a running buddy in the house. I've tried to walk/run with Mocha before... BAHAHAHA! Total disaster! She's so lazy, she seriously pulls me back to the house whenever I try, lol.
We have 3 dogs a 12 year old dachshund who loves to wear clothes she has a cow costume that she will drag out to me when she's cold.
We also have a 3year old chocolate lab and a 2 year old afgan hound mixed with a cooon hound and a race horse. The lab and hound are best friends they are very protective of each other and can't stand to be apart.

We have a 4.5 month Lab/Border Collie cross (3/4 lab) named Abby. She just graduated puppy class this week! She's in my siggy, but because I think she's just so d@mn cute (not that I'm biased), here's another:
This is my family's dog, Sasha - she's a husky/great white pyrenees mix, she's 13 now, she lives with my parents
Tiny pic keeps on turning my images upside down. Sorry but, that's Macy the Boston. she's 11 weeks today and has quite the personality.
Colby is the Yorkie and he is 8 and a perfect role model. Except for his scavenging ways.
I love my pets like kids.
I love these stories. They're really saving my mood!
Tinypic was failing so it took forever to respond to my own post.
This is our hedgehog, Knarla. She is two and a rescue. We adore her! She is blind due to neglect and so sweet. We've owned her since February. She was "free"... We've spent two hundred and fifty bucks getting her set up and back to health.
Our beast of a lab, Frazier. He completely lacks self preservation. He's run off cliffs and tried to play with dogs who want to murder him. He's kind of an idiot but he's so wonderful. Kindest dog ever. We just spent 800 on an emergency bill last week. He got pretty sick but is recovering!
I love this thread--so many cute pups and kitties. We have a 2 year old beagle named Chase. He came from a breeder who specializes in hunting/trial beagles, and DH hunts rabbits with him. It is unusual to rabbit hunt with a solo dog (they usually run in packs of 2-4) but I was unwilling to get more than one beagle at a time. No matter, Chase is a great solo hunter!
Chase is also a huge baby and cuddlebug. I knew he was the dog for us when we went to the breeder to look at the litter of 7, and Chase just crawled into my lap and parked it. Decision made!
This is my German Shorthair Pointer, Bindi. She's 5 and a huge handful. She has really bad anxiety problems - we can't have people at our home and have to avoid people while on walks. She's also not great with our DS. BUT she's our first baby so for the moment we're dealing with it (lots of meds, money, and visits with behaviorists). She also has a ton of personality which makes her lovable.

She is a beautiful dog. DH wants a GSP at some point (they are very popular hunters in our area) but I am not on board right now. One of our neighbors has one, and I see the dog's boundless energy daily!
I have a cat named Remington. He just showed up at my apartment during grad school and never left. He is (in my opinion) the coolest cat eva! He is not scared of people so he will run to the door to greet us when we get home and guests when they come over. He prefers to drink from human cups (glass if possible), and likes ice cubes in his water dish.
We have a three year old American pit bull terrier that we rescued from the shelter. It was love at first sight. She is amazing, and very strong willed. She has completed intermediate training through PetsMart, and is amazing with DS. She thinks she is a big lap dog.

I actually taught him to say "I love you", "I love my mama", "I want it", and he almost has "water" down. It's awesome, but creepy sometimes. lol
