For the last couple days I've been a wreck with a fussy baby who is waking up at night moaning and hard to console. At first I thought she was sick because she had a high fever of 102.8 but besides the fever and random crying outbursts, she was her usual self. She wasn't clingy, could play for a while by herself, and was eating like normal. Now her fever is gone but she's still waking up at night crying. I'm starting to think its the molars. Her first one is coming up on the bottom.
So moms, tell me about your experience with molars if your baby has had them break through. How did they behave? What did you give them to comfort them? Any other suggestions on how to get through this? Thanks!

DS is up at 4:30 daily now. He cut one on the bottom and has three more coming in. He is snotty, clingy and whining constantly. He has diapers that I cannot even believe. We had a dinner date and when I got to the car I realized I had poop up my arm and it was all the way up his back, in his hair and under his armpits. It took me about 15 minutes to fully strip him and clean up in the parking lot of Panera.
On the upside, I learned about a new miracle bottom cream. It's called Bag Balm and it's sold with the make up remover. It's for cow udders, but is totally helping his raw bottom (it was swollen it was so bad) combat the acidic teething poops.
Nat's fever was higher than that, but I just remembered that she got shots a week ago so that could have been it, too.
