Spotting at 5weeks 5days

I'm so scared I've been spotting every morning and sometimes throughout the day in a light brown color... And I keep reading that it could be a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy.. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

My understanding is that if there is no cramping, you're OK. And brown blood is old blood, possibly from the embryo continuing to burrow into the uterus, or possibly something else (I'm not a doctor or nurse).

I am also worried about it, though, especially ectopic or m/c. I am 4w5d today. I have been spotting brown when I wipe for the last three days. Last night during sexy time, there was a lot of brown blood. So I'm monitoring at this point. Feeling a little light cramping this morning.

I am 5wk1d and have spotted off and on since BFP. The doc didn't seem too concerned and told me to wait until my appt on 6/7. I stopped running and am trying to take it easy. I am also freaked out as I did m/c my last pregnancy in Nov 2012. Just keep taking deep breaths and get through one day at a time!

If you are spotting, you may want to hold off on sexy time for awhile. I had light brown spotting once, had an u/s and the tech identified 2 hematomas. My obgyn placed me on pelvic rest. I'm not insinuating you have hematomas, but of there is any sort of bleeding/spotting, you may want to avoid intercourse.

Thank you for your feedback! I'm monitoring it at this point, and I might call my dr depending on what happens in the next day. I'm definitely putting a hold on sexy time, for sure!

Thanks everyone for your feedback... I spoke to my doctor and he said that is completely normal, not to worry about it at all unless its bright red,heavy and followed with cramping.
