I'm so glad to see this!
A little about me: DH and I have been married almost 7 years. We have a 4 year old DD, suffered an early loss, and then had our rainbow DS. This LO is a surprise baby but we're excited!
I'm due 1/29/14. I haven't had any symptoms really yet. I'll be having a RCS; that will make 3 c sections.
Welcome to the group and congrats! I have added you to my list!
"Go in peace! I will not say: do not weep; for not all tears are an evil." -Gandalf
What is your EDD or updated EDD? Haven't had my first u/s but according to my LMP still due on 1/24/14
Symptoms? Occasional sore boobs with a slight burning sensation. Really tired and my appetite is gone, The smell of tomato sauce causes slight heaving.
Any updates or appointments coming up that you'd like to share? Tomorrow is my first u/s to see how the baby is progressing. I am praying that baby measures right on schedule!
GTKY: Midwife or OB? why? If given a choice, vaginal birth or c-section? My last pregnancy I chose a midwife because they go by your birthing plan and are all women. But I had a not so good experience so the OB doctor that did my D&C is now my OB.
My hubby and I have been together since 2008. Married 5 years in Dec. DX with PCOS and
annovulatory hypothalamus. TTC for baby #2 for 10 months BFP on May 29th 2015
Hi Megan! Thanks as always for running the check in! And I think the idea of honoring those that have lost their snowflakes is beautiful. A good reminder for us to keep them in our thoughts and prayers!
Any updates or appointments coming up that you'd like to share? Had my first appointment yesterday. She offered to rush me in for my first u/s this week, but I decided to wait until the end of next week. With both my losses, the babies were estimated to have stopped growing in the 8th week, so I won't really feel too reassured until I get beyond that.
And I unintentionally scheduled the u/s on my DD's birthday. I keep trying to tell myself this is a good sign, but PgAL brain keeps telling me to change it - what if things go wrong? I don't want her birthday to forever be a loss anniversary for me as well.
GTKY: Midwife or OB? why? If given a choice, vaginal birth or c-section?
OB. I love her, she is very laid back. She's been in the field for many years, so she's seen it all.
I had a quick natural, vaginal birth with DD. Hoping for a repeat, but hoping the OWT that the second kid comes much faster than the first, won't apply. The same time or slightly faster would be ok. But with DD, I was still in triage (about to get sent home because I wasn't far enough along), when my water broke, less than 3 hours later DD was in my arms. Oh and did I mention the hospital is 30-60 minutes away from my house?

Symptoms? Not much the last couple days...boob soreness has decreased, I've had a bit more energy. So far no M/S, but mom never had it with any of her 3, so hopefully I just got good genes. Of course the lack of symptoms is totally messing with my mind!
Any updates or appointments coming up that you'd like to share? 2nd U/S was today and went great. Next appointment is an OB checkup on 3 weeks.
GTKY: Midwife or OB? why? If given a choice, vaginal birth or c-section?
My office has both OB and midwife, and you're encouraged to meet with both. We'll be going vaginal assuming to no emergencies.
Symptoms? No Sleep, Horrible Dreams, Using the restroom more than ever, Boobs are still overly sensitive (trying to keep the hubs off them), General aches and pains, Cant really ever get comfy!
Any updates or appointments coming up that you'd like to share? Now that we have a heartbeat they don't want to even see me until July3rd....a little concerned about getting the MaterniT21 testing done cause that window may be closed =(
GTKY: Midwife or OB? why? If given a choice, vaginal birth or c-section? OB for sure....esp since this will be my 3rd C-section!
What is your EDD or updated EDD?

What is your EDD? January 13 Symptoms? Tired, sore breasts, pretty bad m/s. Any updates or appointments coming up that you'd like to share? I have a u/s in Tuesday that I'm totally freaking out over. It will be right at 8 weeks which is when we lost the hb the first time. Luckily, we are flying to San Diego today for a long weekend, so I'm hoping all the running around we will be doing there will keep me too busy to have a full meltdown. GTKY: Midwife or OB? why? If given a choice, vaginal birth or c-section?OB. I feel a little more comfortable with her and her knowledge of my heart condition which can put me at risk during this pregnancy if my stress gets too high. Her nurse is a midwife, so there is a little of that approach too, which I like. Vaginal birth, please!
updates- tomorrow I have my 3rd beta. fingers crossed good news, my first u/s will be at 7 weeks on 6/12.
GTKY- OB with a doula in the room.
I am FREAKING out b/c I had a loss at delivery and DH and I decided that we hit the quota for people we know, but my coworker was induced yesterday b/c of no heartbeat at 37 weeks. I feel like I am going to be a nervous wreck this ENTIRE pregnancy.
I am so sorry for your loss and your coworker's loss. I can't even imagine and count myself on the "lucky" side (if there is such a thing) of PGAL with my early losses. My T's and P's are always with all of my PGAL ladies. We will be here for you! We can do this together! Grow babies, grow!!

Hey megan can you add a slash after buckeyebride and add this SN? Unless Jackie the bump god fixes my account, I'll be using this one. My due date is going to be changed I have a feeling. I originally went by O, but I'm thinking LMP is looking more accurate so 1/24
Symptoms? Exhaustion and sore nips
Any updates or appointments coming up that you'd like to share? I updated post whorishly already. I have another US June 5th at 1:15 est
GTKY: Midwife or OB? why? If given a choice, vaginal birth or c-section?
OB, there are no midwives at my hospital right now. I would love a VBAC, but after the hell I went through with DS I don't know if that's possible. Really all I really care about is actually being awake this time. With DS I had a general.
I'd like to be added to the group! ?I am 6w4d pregnant after two previous losses and 3 IVFs. ??What is your EDD or updated EDD? ?Januray 18thSymptoms???sore boobs, extreme pgal paranoia! If given a choice, vaginal birth or c-section? OB...however my OB's office is moving and I am considering switching to an OB/midwife practice. ?Vaginal birth is possible.??Thank you for running the check in!?
Symptoms? Still having bad m/s, but mixed with a kideny infection, I'm not sure what is causing the puking
Any updates or appointments coming up that you'd like to share? Next appoint on June 4th to review 1st tri bloodwork & (fingers crossed) hear baby on the doppler. Next u/s on June 19th.
GTKY: Midwife or OB? why? I'm with an OB. I had pretty bad GD last pregnancy, so I have a pretty high chance of getting it again and I more comfortable with my OB.
If given a choice, vaginal birth or c-section? If I had a choice, Iphysically - would go with a VBAC, but I'm kind of relieved that I will have a repeat c-section, since we don't have any family in the area and I will be able to have my family visit to watch DD. I feel a bit selfsih, but I love knowing the schedule. Cross my fingers that there is no early labor.
