Recommend your bc

I'm sure there's been a million posts on here about them but mobile bump sucks. I've currently been on Mirena since Aug and its ok except for not being able to loose any weight despite hard efforts.

So just looking for another form of bc that may be a better fit for me. Thanks!

    I have the paragard iud and I love it. No hormones to fight against.

    Do u get regular cycles? Or longer or heavier?

    I get very regular cycles, but have always been really regular. I do have heavier periods but I can plan for them since I know it's coming. Don't really get cramps either, hallelujah, they were so horrid before I was pg.

    I have the Mirena, too and love it.  I've lost all my baby weight and a few extras- so maybe its not the Mirena that's holding you back?  Have you had your thyroid checked?

    I have the mirena also and have lost most of my baby weight but have stalled out and it doesnt seem to budge no matter I do. I also am not very happy with it, I have NO sex drive at all. I love not getting a period but I am not sure its worth it.


    Yes that's exactly how I felt. I lost most of my baby weight than seems like I got the mirena it's gone back up n just halted.

    I wanted to look into the mini pill but get reviews from others as well.

    I used to be on the mini pill and it was ok, I just am really bad at remembering to take it at the same time. There's also the fact that any antibiotics or alcohol can make it non-functional and I gained weight with it.
