First Ultrasound Results - Pinch Me!

Well we had our first ultrasound today and thanks everyone for all the advice about what to expect. It really helped. 

Also we found out that we are having twins!!!! Most likely identical. I have another ultrasound to confirm next week.

I am still in shock and don't know what to do with myself. Anybody else with twins out there?

    That was my surprise at my u/s today too! We are going back next week to get a better idea of what's going on, but the doctor said identical. CRAZY DAY FOR TWINS! 
    Became a birth mother in 2003
    I have a sweet girl - Born August 2009
    I have a darling boy - Born April 2012
    Surprise *TWINS* BFP, IUD was gone! - Due January 2014

    I have twins that are 3 years old. We didn't find out till 20 weeks though so that was a shocker for sure. :) anyway I'm happy to answer any questions you might have. :)

    5/07 - DD conceived naturally cycle #1

    8/09 - Started TTC #2
    11/10 - BFP!
    12/10 - MC (Chemical Pregnancy)
    2/11 - IUI #1 with clomid & trigger = BFN
    5/11- Switched to a Fertility Specialist, Dx with low progesterone and annovulatory, several rounds of
             clomid = BFN's
    4/12 - Exploratory Lap, Dx Stage III endo
    5/12 - 7/12 - Lupron injections to suppress AF and reduce scar tissue
    8/12 - Surgery to remove tissue, uterus and tubes clear!
    9/12-12/12 - More BFN's!
    1/13 - Referred to an RE
    2/13 - IUI #1 with injects and new RE = BFN
    3/13 - 4/13 - Break due to cysts
    5/13 - IUI #2 with injects (125ml bravelle + trigger) = BFP!!!
    EDD - 1/23/14

    Diagnosed with PCOS June 2010, TTC#1 since May 2012
    Cycle#1-3 Clomid 50mg + TI= No response
    Cycle#4-5 Clomid 150mg + Metformin 1000mg + TI= BFN, but finally ovulation!!!
    Cycle #6 Clomid 150mg + Metformin 1500mg + IUI(4/15)= BFP!!! EDD 01/06/2014 <br>

    Stella Margaret arrived on December 21, 2013!

    We had our first U/S last Thursday when I was 6 weeks 2 days.  The midwife couldn't get a very clear view, but thought we might be having twins going on.  It's a HUGE shocker for us b/c neither of us have twins in our family (although I'm not sure of my father's biological parents lineage), but pretty funny because my husband kept saying we are going to have twins.  Ask you you shall receive.  We have another U/S this Friday to confirm. Exciting and scary at the same time.
