I use frozen, defrost, and then puree and re freeze.
This is what I started doing. The fresh mango is really stringy so I cut them up, freeze them, and then thaw and puree as needed. It really cuts down the stringy texture.
I just gave DD larger chunks and she gnawed them to death.

pureeing mango is too much work! As long as they are ripe, just cut it open, dice it up and feed it to your LO! I've been doing this for my DS and he has no trouble mashing and swallowing diced mangoes!

I will probably try this as well. She went to town on some watermelon yesterday!
