Is your OBs office pure torture?

Sitting here waiting to get pre op stuff done for dc tomorrow. I swear this place is going to make me lose it before I leave. Bellies everywhere. Beautiful kiddos running around. I'm in hell! Lol. Wish they'd make these places kid free for us!

UGHH! I hear your pain! The last time I was at OB's office, the first person I saw when I walked in was a pregnant high school student...one of mine no less!!!!! IF YOU SUCK!

I feel ya! The best is explaining all the IVF scripts to the nurse getting my vitals. She was a little confused at first, and then it was all she could do to wrap her head around the fact that I was on BCP and Lupron!

I'm there with you. Because they thought my last m/c was ectopic I went to my OB to get a 2nd opinion. Absolute. torture. They should have a day in the week that is pregnant-free, so we can be spared the sight...

I was just in earlier this month for my annual....which if I didn't need on file (+ cultures) for IVF I'd be totally skipping. I just stuck myself in the corner, close to the door to the exam rooms. Of course, even before IF I didn't think kids old enough to run around (and too young to sit still) belong in an OB's office.

This was me about 3 weeks ago. I was happy they were actually running on time and I didn't have to sit out there long. Also, the ONLY magazines they had were parenting/pregnancy ones. Wish I could have skipped.

My re's office is surrounded by OB offices and its in a women and children's center. I'm usually almost in tears by the time I make it into my office. Because EVERYONE is pregnant. Then I walk into RE office last time and there were 2 pregnant women there.. Really.

Absolute pure hell on earth.

I was there to get labs and u/s to verify my miscarriage. Between the decorations, magazines, pregnant women talking about their due dates, ect... I would rather stab myself in the eye. I was a complete biotch... Literally sat with my head down, did not look up or talk to anyone. My DH was with me and knew it was best to just let me be.

yep, that's what I did. played on the phone the whole time trying not to look up! thank goodness there's not any sharp objects in the lobby!
