Ultrasound today

I went to the doctors today to check growth. As of 5/19/13 there was nothing that could be measured. I went in today they looked at the right and she counted but measured nothing, my heart sunk. She moved to the left and there was a 19.5mm. I was so happy! This stair stepping with the 150mg of clomid worked for growth. I was hoping for more than one but I will take the one.

We also talked about the false positive OPK that I have been getting prior to IUI cycles. She said that it is common for someone that has higher levels of LH to get false positives. I didnt even realize I had a high level so I was upset no one had told me!

We also talked about coming in for daily bloodwork to check LH levels and look for the surge. I did ask about trigger shot. This will be the first completed IUI with clomid so they dont want to rush in to that. I was told that the trigger shot is for timing and she doesnt see why it wouldnt release on its own. So for now we arent going with the trigger. (The women I met with today is great but not my regular doctor I will talk with him tomorrow)

I was happy to have something that could be measured I did go in thinking I was going to get the same old news that I usally get. I am waiting for bloodwork results this afternoon and will go in daily until the IUI.

7 IUI- 2 CP- 2 BFN

RPL blood work 12/27, showed a balance translocation in chromosome 11;22  

Spouse-

PCOS 4 IUI-4 BFN

New Plan: Reciprocal IVF, me as carrier wife's eggs. Just went through insurance and received partial approval, so my part will go through my IVF benefits and wife's part will be out of pocket. Now just finalizing finance plans to cover the oop costs. Doctors office is in process of moving to a new building so there are no IVF start ups until March/April 2015.

    Dx: Poor Embryo Quality, Arcuate Uterus, Poor Uterine Blood Flow, Mild Endo, 
           Protein S Deficiency, Sjorgen's Syndrome 

    IUI #1-5: BFN
    Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy: minimal endo, partial septoplasty
    IVF #1: 10R/6M/6F ~ Day 3 ET = BFN
    IVF #2: 14R/9M/5F ~ transfer canceled ~ all embryos arrested at 1-2 cell stage
    IVF #3: 9R/5M/5F ~ 1 frosty!
    IVF #4 (FET #1): BFN

    IVF #5 (DE IVF #1 with Dr. KK protocol): Currently PREGNANT!!!!!!
    Synthroid + Prednisone + Metformin + Baby Aspirin + Supplements Galore = 15+ pills a day
    Lupron + Lovenox + Delestrogen + IVIG + B/W = 2-5 pokes a day
    19R, 17M, 17F - transferred two Grade A blasts 11/16, four frosties!!!
    Beta #1 11/24 (13dpo/8dp5dt) = 367 ~ Beta #2 11/26 (15dpo/10dp5dt) = 709
    Beta #3 11/29 (18dpo/13dp5dt) = 1,997 ~ Beta #4 12/1 (20dpo/15dp5dt) = 3,403

    Yay for a good response!  I'd definitely ask your doctor tomorrow about the trigger.  It sounds like with daily monitoring timing could be ok, but the trigger would guarantee it.  Good luck!
