Getting nervous!!

Our moving date has just been moved up! My due date is June 24th and we now need to move (due to my husbands job) from Utah to Florida on June 28th.  I am a FTM and know that I most likely will go past my due date.  My midwife here in Utah is fabulous.  She won't strip my membranes until I am 38 weeks and that is ONLY if my bishop's score is a ten.  She won't induce until 41 weeks.  I have mixed feelings about all of this! I am planning a natural birth and absolutely DO NOT want to be induced, but I am stressing that my little girl won't be here in time. I know a lot of OBs/Midwives won't take new patients after 36 weeks.  My midwife wants me to fly instead of drive with my husband because of ppd and pp healing, but baby has to be at least 2 weeks old to fly.  We would have moved this weekend before I hit 36 weeks tomorrow, but I have a summer class to finish up here on top of everything else! This mama is stressing!!!

    I feel your stress :( I am currently pregnant with my second child. I am 39 weeks today. The clinic that my OB works at is closing 3 days after my due date!  My son came right on his due date 5 years ago and I had a natural birth which is what I have planned for this birth. My doctor has informed me that I have 2 options: he can schedule to induce me on my due date, or I can chance not having a Dr when I go into labor if I go over. He has spoken with other OBs in the area and none of them will take me as a new patient if I am over my due date. If I go over and my Dr is out of business I will get whatever Dr is on call at the hospital, but also will not have access to an OB for regular appointments. I can't decide! I do not want to be induced, but also do not want to be suck without a doctor!

    I'm sorry there's not much I can say to alleviate your stress, but I know how you feel...
