Pregnancy-related GTKY

1) How long were trying to get pregnant for this one? (Or were you not trying?)

Have been trying overall since July 2012. This particular one since Christmas.

2) Do you have any special way planned to announce this pregnancy?

Not really. We've told a couple people (family) in person. Not sure how we will tell everyone else. I have a couple ideas kicking around, though.

3) Be honest, do you use the words preggo or preggers?

Nope!

Pregnancy-related GTKY

1) How long were trying to get pregnant for this one? (Or were you not trying?) I had my IUD taken out August 2012. We were preventing by using condoms during what should have been my fertile week (not temping or charting). We understood that it was not a foolproof method, but knew we would be happy if I got pregnant.

2) Do you have any special way planned to announce this pregnancy? Nope, we already told immediate family.

3) Be honest, do you use the words preggo or preggers? Nope, but I have used "knocked up"

1) How long were trying to get pregnant for this one? (Or were you not trying?) about 4 months.

2) Do you have any special way planned to announce this pregnancy? We're going to slip it into the blessing with my family on Memorial Day. We're still figuring out how to tell my husband's family. But we had personalized bibs made for the grandparents after we give the news.

We were NTNP. I'm still breastfeeding and had no idea what was happening with my cycle. It happened as soon as we stopping using BC.

2) Do you have any special way planned to announce this pregnancy? Probably a big sister shirt for DD.

2) Do you have any special way planned to announce this pregnancy? Not really. Maybe a cute pic for Facebook.

3) Be honest, do you use the words preggo or preggers? Nope. I just tell DH I'm carrying his spawn.

1) What do you do for a living? Right now not much, I haven't worked since we moved last year. I am starting to sell cupcakes though, and I sell custom cards/d?cor.

Very different than my first pregnancy with DS... This one was not planned and we were not trying... We DTD twice....

2 Do you have any special way planned to announce this pregnancy?

I'm planning it... But I'm not quite sure yet what to do!! I did announce it to my mom by giving her a Mother's Day card signed Love DS ?

1) How long were trying to get pregnant for this one? (Or were you not trying?) 2 cycles

2) Do you have any special way planned to announce this pregnancy? Nothing yet. I'm sure it will involve my DS somehow. Last time we got both sides of the family together and told them. We aren't doing that this time b/c my SIL recently had a pretty late loss, and we want to be sensitive to that

3) Be honest, do you use the words preggo or preggers? Nope.

1) What do you do for a living? I'm an attorney. Practiced for 7 years before I had my DS, then decided to stay at home with him. I will be going back part time sometime in the future.

2) What is your favorite book? It has been so long since I have read a book. I'll just go with pretty much anything Jane Austen. Pride and Prejudice is probably my favorite.

3) Describe yourself in three words. somewhat uptight, loving and funny. Obviously I would love to change my uptight/somewhat control freak behavior. I have really been working on it. My husband is soooooo laid back that it has really helped me over the years (so has having a baby!)

The Night Circus is such an excellent novel. So descriptive and imaginative, it was like I was there.

Started trying in June 2012, had an MMC in the fall and this was my 2nd cycle since D&C2) Do you have any special way planned to announce this pregnancy? With last one for family we did a picture with the lined up shoes. This time we just told our immediate family members one at a time because of recent loss. For FB I am always posting about our house projects since we bought our first house, so it will probably be something about how the next one will be the baby's room.3) Be honest, do you use the words preggo or preggers?
No but I will use "preg" when I'm writing emails so that may be just as bad

TTC #2 for about 8 months.

No I am not sure yet. For #1 we took a picture on our stairs with me, my husband, and 2 baby shoes. It was really cute but not sure what we will do this time.

Both of them make me cringe.

1) How long were trying to get pregnant for this one? (Or were you not trying?) NT/NP since January. We'd intended to start TTC with charting starting in June.
2) Do you have any special way planned to announce this pregnancy? Nope. We've just been telling close family members as the opportunity becomes available. My IL's live in North Carolina and were actually in town for a visit the day after I got my BFP, so we were really happy to be able to tell them in person.
3) Be honest, do you use the words preggo or preggers? Never

1) What do you do for a living? SAHM. Before that I worked as an office manager/medical biller in the same doctors office where my DH works.
2) What is your favorite book? I love books, and have many that I read over and over again. Right now I'm sticking to things that I can read quickly and don't need to concentrate on too much. So lots of trashy novels.

We got pg the third cycle.

No. I am kind of dreading it, sadly. This baby will be our fourth. People don't get as excited after the second baby.

Nope. The bump has taught me well.

1. We were actively TTC for 2 months

2. We'll just tell people directly (parents, siblings, and best friend already know). Once everyone we need to tell knows, we might post a funny picture on facebook. Maybe us reading pregnancy/delivery books and looking horrified/terrified. Not sure yet.

3. I have never said preggers... but I have made a joke before about someone's "eggo being preggo". I don't use either in general conversation or in a serious way
