Hi, I'm LSU and after a roller coaster of emotions the past 7 days, I think I may belong here!
Last Friday I got a realllly faint line on a FRER, but couldn't turn a digital positive. I called and went in for bloodwork and found out my beta was only a 9. At 14 dpiui, things did not look good at all. Saturday night I started spotting and cramping so stopped my progesterone supplements and by Sunday, I was having what I thought was my normal AF.
My doc wanted me to go in Monday for a second draw but I was out of town for work so I went in first thing Tuesday morning, fully expecting to get the call that I was now at zero. I had even started "researching" over the weekend on how to discuss with my RE that I only wanted to sit out one cycle after the CP and not the two he usually recommends. So it was a complete surprise when the nurse called and said my beta was 89. Cue freakout and I had myself totally convinced this was an ectopic and that I would be on the bench way longer than I initially thought.
After another blood draw yesterday morning and waiting all day, I finally talked with the nurse at 5pm. My beta was now at 247! I honestly couldn't believe it and still really don't know what to think maybe a late implanter? In any case my progesterone levels are still a big concern. For last Fridays draw they were 4.9 [on supplements] and for Tuesdays it was .4 [not on supps]. Of course the labdidnt check it yesterday even though it was ordered so I go back this morning for another check. While I'm absolutely terrified, I am hoping and praying that this is finally it for us.
To the TTCAL ladies, words cannot even remotely begin to express how much you all have helped me through the past 13 months. I was lost before I found that board and without all of your love and support, I'm not sure how I would have made it through everything. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
EtA: just heard back from the nurse and my progesterone is up to 13.03!!! First ultrasound scheduled for June 5!

Cycle 1: Femara, trigger shot, Bravelle added due to slow response = BFN
Cycle 2: Cancelled due to two cysts =(
Cycle 3: Femara, Bravelle, trigger shot and IUI = BFP then loss #3
Cycle 4: Femara, Follistim, trigger shot and IUI = BFP! EDD: 6/7/14

Yay!! Welcome and congrats!!
Can I ask....are you on suppositories or PIO? With PIO my progesterone shot up from 17 to 64. I'm only speaking from my experience, so I'm not sure what the most effective means is, but worth a look perhaps??

PIO is progesterone in oil mine was sesame oil that you inject intramuscular. I got to have a daily injection in my butt. Yay!! It wasn't fun, but it is doable.
