Babys is packed and ready mine is semi packed just waiting on nursing bras to arrive and need to pick up a few travel size items. I'll be 31 weeks tomorrow. Are you ladies packed? If not then when do you plan to do so?
I'm at exactly the same point as you. But I'm also waiting some of my fav maternity shirts I'd like to pack. So I'll have to do that last minute. And this weekend I plan on buying the travel size stuff. I'm 31 weeks as well!
Only thing I haven't packed yet is the newborn sized take home outfit I bought because I misplaced it on the walk from my laundry room to my bedroom and my phone charger. I'm 31 weeks too! I plan on getting the carseat bases installed this weekend and inspected next week!
I am 31 weeks as well. Mine is a work in progress. I am going shopping on Monday and plan on picking up a couple of things and should be able to finish it off after that.
ETA: I want mine done ASAP because if I went into Preterm labour, they would be shipping me 2 hrs away. I want to be prepared, especially since MH is out of town for the better part of the next month.
I haven't packed and I'm 33 weeks. Im going to a birthing center and we won't have a long stay. Plus it's less than a 10 minute drive from home. So if we don't have something it won't be the end of the world.
Apparently from our birthing class you don't need a lot. An outfit for baby and a carseat. And toiletries and a change of clothes for DH and I. And snacks. And anything for labor we may want.
So I plan on making a check list and putting it in the bag. That way DH knows what we need if we are caught off guard.
I will likely pack and work on the baby essentials closer to 34-36 weeks. This is my second so I'm a little less obsessed with extensive prepping this time around.
Nope, not even close. However a coworker who was due July 1st, so a couple weeks before me up and had her baby yesterday which shocked us all since she was here working earlier this week! So yeah, I probably should for that "just in case" scenario.
I am almost 33 weeks pregnant and I haven't gotten anything packed. I know that I really need to because if I go early and I'm not packed both me and DH are going to be really stressed about it. I moght try to get everything packed this weekend since I have a long weekend.
Both girls came at 37 weeks so I'll probably get around to packing around 35 weeks. The car seat is at my parent's house and since they'll have my girls while we're at the hospital, they can just bring it when they come and DH can run down and install it. Anything that doesn't get packed early (laptops, phone chargers) can be grabbed by my parents or if DH wants to run home.
Wow, I haven't packed a thing yet or installed my car seat and LO will be here in 3 weeks! I guess I'd better get busy this weekend.
I wish I weren't a "planner" as my sister calls me lol. I may be a lot more calmer. You are good and you have time I'm just a person who likes to plan ahead just in case.
We live about 15 minutes from the hospital we plan to deliver at. If there's no heavy traffic depending on time of day and at night/early morning it's clear usually. Depending on what time things decide to happen we have to plan what to do with our oldest dd prob drop her off at my dads. I didn't go into labor with my first I had a scheduled csection due to her size at 40w5days. This time we are going for Vbac and I'm high risk which I wasn't before with my first. I'll prob have to make sure hubby and dd have things that's needed during time in hospital.
I have all of my toiletries packed and a list of stuff I need to gather up but that's it. I wear every item of clothing I plan on taking so there's no point in getting stuff ready now. We are an hour away from the hospital and have to pack up DS's stuff and get the dog supples ready because they will be staying with my family while I'm in the hospital. I get anxious just thinking about how hectic it will be. Lists are my best friend right now!
Mostly. The only things that are not packed are things that I will use between now and then, so I have a list on top of my bag so that we can grab them before we leave. We haven't installed car seats yet--probably wait a few weeks. Then we will pretty much be ready.
ETA: I still need to pack a bag for DD1 for in case she needs to go stay somewhere else.
I'm pretty much packed. All of baby's things are packed, most of mine are. I just need to throw in some last minute things. DH insists he will pack last minute!
Not packed at all. Well, technically, we ARE packed... everything is packed and ready for the move this weekend. Hospital bag? Nah. I won't worry about that for a bit. I'm going to move and unpack and enjoy being unpacked for a bit then I'll worry about it. Honestly if I go into labor before it's packed it's not like we can't run home and grab whatever we need or swing by WalMart.

This except I'll be at the hospital - If it's before 35 weeks, I'll get shipped up to a larger hospital 90 minutes away. There really isn't much you'll need as usually it's only a 2-3 day stay: A change of clothes for the day you go home, an outfit or two for baby, phone/phone charger, camera/video camera with batteries and charger, snacks, toiletries (shampoo/ conditioner/ body wash/ contact solution and case/ toothpaste, toothbrush, and floss/ lotion or moisturizer/ chapstick), hair ties and brush, car seat, and anything you may need for labor. (Also the baby book for hand/footprints and big brother gift for DS)
We also have to keep a bag packed for DS as he will be staying at Grandma's while we are at the hospital.
