Ticker Change Days-Explanation

I just wanted to give everyone who might be confused about what the Ticker Change Days actually are for a bit of an explanation. (It seems like people are a bit confused and posting on ticker change days whenever it's posted, instead of when their ticker changes)

For example: Ticker Change Thursday is when you're starting a new week, whether you're at 5w, 6w, 7w, 8w, and so on...Today I am 8 weeks, so my ticker changed today. If you're new week starts tomorrow (or the next day etc..) you post on that Ticker Change Day thread.

I just figured that it's best to explain it now so that everyone is posting in the correct ticker change day from now on!

When I was (briefly) on a different BMB, the ticker change had a brief explanation at the top. Something like this:

This check-in is for people who are X number of weeks and 0 days today (5w, 6w, 7w, etc.)

I put that in mine that I did on Saturday, and there was only one non-Saturday ticker change in there, and she realized her mistake. Not that it really matters, people can post anywhere. But that would be my suggestion for anyone who starts the ticker change post on any given day.

That's a great idea! I don't run a ticker change day, but maybe the ladies who do could add a brief explanation to the top of the post.

I know it's not really a big deal and people can post wherever they like, but I think it's nice to "belong" to a ticker change day.

No one really "runs" them, anyone can post them.

Thank you! I saw someone posting on the Sunday one in error a week or two ago and I giggled. I suppose I just took the knowledge for granted since I have been on TB so long.
