We had some super warm weather a while ago (back to dreary rain now). I had C out in his summer clothes and Neutrogena baby sunscreen. He started getting a bit of a rash in the bends of his elbows and behind his knees. I don't think that it was due to the sunscreen because the red bumpy area wasn't anywhere else. My husband thinks that he got some eczema, but it didn't look like the pictures that I found on Web MD. In the summertime I can get a red bumpy rash behind my knees and on the backs of my thighs, but I've never gone to the doctor about it. It didn't seem to bother him, he never scratched it. Does anyone have any possible insight on what it might be? Thanks :-)
Re: Rash question
Hmm, he was sweaty and hot-but on those days he was wearing one layer of cotton and the rash stuck around for a couple of days.
I find it to be the best. We use it after baths and if DD has a flare up, we use it on the spot more often. It could just be a little heat rash if it was only in the spots that he was sweating and may not be eczema.
My vote goes for heat rash. It it doesn't bother him, you probably shouldn't worry too much.
Jonny, I'd been meaning to ask you about the lotion. Do you use the same cream for the body and the face, or do you use something different on the face?
Hmm, thanks ladies for the input. Of course I could just call the nurse hotline, but that takes all of the fun and guesswork out of it, doesn't it?
you can use it on the face too!
