First pregnancy, and first U/S.

I had my first U/S today and it went great! I was half expecting him to say "nope nothing here! You must be crazy for thinking that you're pregnant!" But instead he showed me and my husband that our baby is 8w5d old and has a heart beat of 166b per minute. Couldn't have been more perfect. I just wish it had lasted longer. My EDD is December 21st. Praying that you ladies have an amazing day as well!

    So exciting! Glad your first appointment went so well!
    BFP#1: 12/3/13 EDD 8/15/13. Heartbeat found on 12/26/13, HB gone on 1/4/13. D&C 1/7/13
    BFP#2: 4/19/13 EDD 12/28/13. Team Green for pregnancy and Baby Girl arrived 12/21/13.
    BFP#3: 2/9/13 EDD 10/18/17. Team Green for Round 2!

    I was the same way when I had went to my first u/s I had such a negative mind set but sure enough there my baby was : I'm glad everything worked out for you! Wishing you all the best :

    Congratulations! I cries like a big baby at mine. I'm talking Oprah ugly cry action. My husband didn't even know what to make of me. It's such an amazing thing to see/hear the heart.

    Congrats! Isnt it magical watching it for the first time! I am like you my first u/s ever and it was so fun! It was like I was meeting the baby for the first time. And yeah like you said I thought my doctor would say I was crazy! I knew there was a baby there but I couldnt feel it and it was even harder to imagine it was real! So when I looked up at the screen and it was my baby moving around at that exact moment! ah! priceless!
