Prednisone & Pregnancy Symptoms

Is anyone on here taking prednisone for elevated nk cells? I've been on prednisone for a month and I am currently 6 weeks. My betas were rising on track but I'm worried because my symtoms aren't really getting worse. My breasts have been tender since my BFP and once or twice a day I feel pressure in my uterus. I don't even feel tired and I wonder if that's because the prednisone is actually giving me energy.

Has anyone found prednisone to mask their pregnancy symptoms?

I just want my symptoms get worse until my first u/s next week. I'm nervous and I the waiting is the awful!

    I have been on prednisone for 5 mos for high TNF and I basically had no pg symptoms except now my breasts are sore when I take off my bra. It's normal enjoy it because I got no m/s

    I never had normal pregnancy symptoms. Not all women have them. I think a lot of them are mental anyway. 

    Honestly I still dont have normal symptoms! I'm 30 weeks and have yet to experience heartburn or waking up every 2 hours to pee. Don't stress yourself out over it.

    I was on prednisone until 17 weeks this pregnancy (began tapering at 12 wks) and I definitely think it muted my symptoms, especially fatigue. GL at your first u/s!
    IUIs #1-3 (1x unmedicated, 2x Clomid) = 2 BFNs, 1 m/c at 7w3d
    IUIs #4-6 (injects) = 3 BFNs
    IVF #1 = BFN
    FET #1 = BFN
    FET #2 = BFN
    IVF #2 = BFP, b/g twins lost at 20w due to partial abruption/PPROM
    IVF #3 = c/p 5w2d
    Long-shot Clomid/Prednisone cycle before next IVF = BFP, our beautiful, healthy girl born 6/26/13!

    FET #3 - May/June 2014     -     all embryos arrested before xfer - back to the drawing board...

     This is my 5th pregnancy and the only one which I have not had normal/typical-for me symptoms (other than what I mentioned) & the only one I've been on Prednisone for.

    Nope. I just wanted the OP to know that not all women get the normal pregnancy symptoms we always hear about. I remember being really freaked out in the beginning because I had NO symptoms. Even now I can freak myself out when I read other ladies posting about things I never seem to experience. So it may be the prednisone and it may be nothing!

    :::lurking::: During my pregnancy I was on 10mg of prednisone and my rheumatologist told me that it would mask pregnancy symptoms, especially morning sickness and that was definitely the case for me! She told me to enjoy that "perk" and I did! HTH!

    It's definitely nice to not feel morning sickness or extreme fatigue.  I just hope it's the prednisone and not HCG tapering off. 

    ....counting down to 1st u/s!!
