I feel like I almost never see these:

Girls- Susan, Melody, Robin (yet I feel like we get Lark or Wren quite a bit), Joanna, Jasmine, Bess

Boys- Derek, Ashton, Brendan, Casey, Lance, Edmund

I just met a little Robin at the park today and though, "Well, I haven't heard that one in a while." (Other under-5 girls at the park: Rachel, Rebecca, Orly, Sadie.)

There are so many names I wish were seen more here. It seems like there are the same non-SSA names over and over. It's as if there is a Baby Name board list of approved names and those are the only ones anyone knows.

But specifically, I'd love to see more of: Pauline, Celeste, Pilar, Fredrick, Christoph, Gareth, among others.

And I'd love of there were more truly different ethnic suggestions. I was really surprised that those who responded to my list of Eurovision names disliked them all. I thought there were some really interesting names -- Elitsa, Andrius, and Gianluca among them.

I don't really have any to add but just want to say that I'm a bit glad that Derek isn't mentioned (it feels less popular) as that is the name we have chosen for DS who we are due with in 3 weeks!

Laura is my name and I love it. It's so classic and underused nowadays! Good choice

I have a Gareth! I get super excited whenever I see his name mentioned, which is rarely. I see his middle name, Brian, even more seldom.

Other faves I rarely see: Rowena, Lara, Larissa, Bianca, Hamish, Fergus, Stuart, Casey.
