Ok, so baby got addicted to the disposable nipples that they give you at the hospital that screw onto the ready to feed. I need to find a substitute. Any ideas on a similar nipple? The disposables are getting way to expensive. Thank you !
Yes, but I cant find any that fit onto the rtf bottles...
This might be a stupid question, but since I BF, I honestly don't know... but can't you just pour the RTF formula into a regular bottle? Then you could use whatever kind LO will take, rather than worrying about it fitting on that little bottle. One extra step, but at least you aren't wasting money on disposable nipples
Yes, but right now I'm trying to find a nipple that is similiar to the disposables....tried Mam, Nuk, and Dr Browns and that was a no go. Plus, I'm overwhelmed right now and not ready to wash bottles yet..
I'm not familiar with the ready made bottles and disposable nipples like you describe, but I found the Playtex Ventaire nipples seemed to be the most similar to the hospital bottles we were using. Both of our twins adjusted well to these bottles (we were using the hospital bottles for the first couple weeks at home). I also found the medium flow was most similar to the hospital ones, versus the slow flow.

Are you talking about the dispoable nipples that the hospital gave you? The hospital didnt give me actual bottles. Just the ready to feed formula bottles with the disposable nipples.
Have you tried Dr Brown premie nippes or Playtex ventaire slow flow. Does LO not like the nipple shape or the flow is too fast? The shape of the above two are almost he same as the nipples that the hospital gave us to go with the nursette RTF.

We got actual bottles and nipples from the hospital, the twins were drinking BM out of a bottle so we didn't have the RTF formula. But I do believe the nipples are probably the same thing. Like another poster said, the shape of the Ventaires was the same as those, which seemed to work the best over others we tried.

Midwestmartinis,

I was wondering that too. Thanks for the info.
