They cook it in oil on a hot grill. What would be bad for you????
I dont really know i guess the reason i was worried was bc I just found out that the indian tikka masala meal that i love has some sort of seed in it that can cause you to have contractions and i had no idea?!? Just scared me! Thank you though :
What is the seed? We eat so many different spices and seeds, but I haven't heard anything bad about them for me now. Where did you find out about this?

If that was the case, more women in India would have premature births. The only risk in Indian food is heartburn. I ate Indian food like crazy with DS...and he was full term.

For one thing, japanese hibachi is quite different from Indian food, not sure why you are correlating the two??
And if there was a seed in tikka masala that was so dangerous and known to cause premature contractions, surely there would be some sort of notice at every Indian restaurant that they would not serve pregnant women tikka masala and every woman walking in would have sign some waiver so the restaurant wouldn't be sued for premature births caused by their seed.

Does anyone know any reasn NOT to eat Japanese Hibachi Steak? I know I can have steak just wasnt sure if what they cook it in would be bad for you?
It's meat cooked at high temperatures in butter and soy sauce. We have a drive thru hibachi place here I've eaten at AT LEAST twice a week that past few weeks. Juding by the way my pants are starting to fit I would say yes, it is bad for you.
OMG you have a driv thru hibachi place? I'm so jealous!

Re: Japanese Hibachi
steak would be fine medium as well. Your choice. I still get mine medium rare....can't help it, I'm a steak-snob
Go for it! I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to eat it.
I eat my steak medium-rare. If it's cooked any more than that, I think it's ruined and wouldn't bother.
