July 4 Announcement Ideas?

First off, Hello! I am PG with our first and of course excited but terrified of these next few weeks. I am trying to keep my mind occupied with happy, positive thoughts, like the ANNOUNCEMENT!  We have already told our close family, but are waiting to tell everyone else until after we hear the heartbeat at about week 12 (we are going with a birth center). I noticed that week 12 falls right around July 4, so I think something related to that would be a cute FB announcement. Original thoughts for status updates were:

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes?

I grow small humans, what?s your superpower?

1.15.2014 <3

What bounces but should never be dropped?

These have nothing to do with July 4th, though.  Thoughts?

    The first comes love one doesn't flow, IMO. Here's a couple I came up with off the top of my head:

    The fireworks tonight are nothing compared to our little explosion, due 1.15.14.

    There's nothing more patriotic than growing a brand new American.

    I love this idea!  This is my first post on here. Just found out we are pregnant after 2 very difficult losses over the last year. I am finding I am super anxious though. Now on progesterone supplements so hopefully all goes well this time. 

    I am totally stealing part of your post idea. Congrats to all you ladies!

    TELL US!! I swear I won't steal it lol I already have mine worked out. 

    And OP, our DD was due in July. We used the 'Expecting our own little firecracker' announcement. Good luck!

    We will be telling family and friends 2 -3 days sooner, but on the 4th we will probably post on FB - I was thinking of "myname, myhusbandsname and baby-to-be wish everyone a happy and healthy fourth of July!"  I like the fireworks idea, maybe then add "More fireworks to come on 1/21/14" not sure I love that though...thank god we have a month to think about it!
