I've been going to a water aerobics class the past few weeks, I highly recommend it! I'm not part of the gym so I pay per class (way cheaper for me this way with the lack of time I have!). I get there a little early and swim around, it feels sooooo good.
I am the youngest person there by far, but that kind of makes it more fun! All the old ladies love to chat about the baby.
At first I thought it was kind of a joke and not much of a workout, but now it's getting a little more challenging- but not uncomfortable. It's the only workout I would be able to stand these days. Of course, I can't make it through the class without getting out for a pee break!
Just thought I'd throw it out there in case anyone is contemplating taking a class or if you feeling a little trapped in their pregnant body
Oh and I didn't by a new suit- I just wear my old bottoms with a sports bra and rash-guard/shirt.

Re: Gave water aerobics a try
I'd love to know where you take classes. My pregnant friend and I are both thinking this would be a fun activity and a little easier on the joints. You can PM if you'd like!
I'm interested to learn too, also when their classes are!
Check at your local Y. Most places that are geared towards community fitness will have water aerobics!
Highline Athletic Club in Burien, $9 drop-in. I have been going to Sat 8AM class, but I know they have others. I have to find their schedule again since I have to start working Saturdays next month
