My cousin is 18 and we haven't talked very much lately, but she's always been my best friend even though she's can be immature. I told her that FH and I are expecting (she doesn't like him and I have no idea why) and she was cool at first, but then yesterday I got a text and she said, "I wish you would have waited". And I tried explaining that this was a surprise but she just responded with, "Let me clarify then- I wish you would have been more careful".
I got pregnant ON birth control, and she is a child with no right to criticize. I just wanted to share with someone I thought I could trust but nope!

Re: I hate family sometimes
You might even want to validate her. I too have an unplanned pregnancy and while its bit the way I would have hoped to be pregnant, it's the way I got here. It is what it is and I'm choosing to be happy about it.
Good luck
I can somewhat relate to what you're going through. My cousin and I are best friends (or were best friends), even 500 miles apart. I finally saw her when DD was 9mo, and all she could do was stare and say "It's so weird to see you with a baby on your hip!" the entire visit. Then she was pretty upset when I wouldn't drink with her (I was still nursing). And she's 32.
Sometimes people, family or not, will grow apart as one matures faster than the other. Bear with it and enjoy what you can. Don't shun her just yet, she'll need your advice/opinions when she has a LO one day.
