That moment when you just nursed your newborn until they let go on their own and you know that if you nurse them anymore they will vomit it all back up, but they're still crying because they want to suck on something. So you offer a paci because usually sucking on that does the trick, but the baby is acting like you soaked it in poison. And goddammit, you don't want to be used as a human pacifier at 4fuucking45 am.

Man, I just want one night where I'm not forced to dream feed if I want any sleep. Especially because dream feeding always means that we both wake up with our shirts soaked in breast milk. I don't have enough bras for that!

Boo I hate the human pacifier phase, before you can really get them to latch onto a paci or a thumb.
