Summer Vacation

We had to back out of our big family vacation this summer, which would have been with my family and several other families.  They're going to VA Beach, about 5 hours away, three weeks after the baby is due.  So, no big vacation for us this year.  Boo :(

So, let me live vicariously through you ladies...what are everyone's summer plans?  Are you going to a place that you visit regularly, or do you have a fun new destination this year?  Immediate family only, or group vacation?  Details!

    Nothing major this year, maybe the Dells a couple times. Next summer will be Disney World and there's been some talk about Hawaii.

    weekend beach trips to NJ shore, day trips to sesame place & dutch wonderland, and a week family vacation to NC

    DH and I have both taken the same week off of work, but haven't planned anything yet. Last year we made the 12 hour drive down to VA and spent a week with my family. DH said he had fun, but needs a few years to recover, lol. We'll probably end up either heading out to Cape Cod or up to Lake Winnipesaukee, with a few weekend camping trips sprinkled here and there.

    Michaela and I are going to Toronto to visit my parents and then we will go up to my aunts camper for a few weekends here and there.

    We're headed about 2 miles West and going to spend the entire summer there. In other words, will be stay-cationing in our new home :D I foresee many an afternoon at the kiddie pool, and possibly a few picnics, too :D

    We do have a 4-day fishing trip planned in July with my entire family, though. I guess that will be our "vacation".

    I'm getting a bit anxious. We leave in 4 weeks. DD2's passport has been delayed. AGHHH! 

    I still have to book a few things. 4 weeks is soon!

    My brother is talking about a trip to Disney next year.  He's kind of a procrastinator about planning, which could work in my favor.  I would really rather try to convince DH to go when the girls are 4 and 2, instead of 3 and 1.  I just don't see him agreeing to go next summer.
