I would so embrace this stage! My LO only eats veggies if they are mixed with something sweet. So he eats a lot of fruit and veggies mixes.
And last night I was eating a salad with apple pieces and a sweet vinegarette and he was loving that salad!! But I just know he would have hated the lettuce if it didn't have the dressing on it
There are so many random phases, I tell ya. Sigh....
My babe is only eating spinach...then brussel sprouts....then broccoli... and now back to spinach. Her poop is very green. Thankfully, she's been adding boiled chicken breast to her mix.
I have also noticed where she only prefers portabello mushrooms than others. I thought that was weird, cuz portabellos have stronger mushroomy smell than others....
And what's scary is....she gets super excited to see wine bottles and glasses. She loves it when we swirl & loves to hold it w/assist.
Re: only greens
It's normal.
My kid likes most everything, but has her weeks where she only wants a couple certain things. Whatever.
Also, be happy it was spinach, so something healthy. Wait until it's only Kix and goldfish crackers washed down with a yogurt.
