Extra Prayers Needed

Hey ladies. I hope you don't mind me posting this here also.
I went in for an elective ultrasound yesterday because I just needed some extra reassurance about the baby. Well, I didn't necessarily get it. Peanut was measuring right on track and had a great heartbeat of 180 bpm. However, I knew that something was off just by looking at the ultrasound and by the way the technician was acting.
The U/S was showing two large black spots, one on the baby's head and one the chest. I understand that the one on the head could be normal but still freaks me out. The Dr is more concerned with the one in the chest. I'm pretty sure I remember seeing the baby's heartbeating what seemed to be outside the body which had me concerned also.
Anyway, I need to have an NT scan, which can't be done until I'm 11 weeks and depending on what the scan shows, we will may do genetic screening. I have a routine appt. next Wednesday with an U/S and we are just hoping and praying that what we all saw will be gone and the baby will be thriving.
DH and I would appreciate any extra prayers that you can spare. Sorry to be so dismal. Thank you ladies!
