  I would keep the travel system on the registry and add a convertible for down the road or put the convertible in your second car. Then you end up with two car seats and one stroller.

  I would not register for another stroller unless it is an umbrella stroller. 
  
  I would rgister for another base for the carrier that comes with the travel system.  That way you each have a base and the seat can go from one car to the other.
  
  If your kid is going to be in one car most of the time I would only register for 1 convertible seat.  If it will be split (one does daycare drop off, other does pick up for example) I would register for 2.  Just know that not all carseats fit in all cars.

  Yes, or you could just register for an extra base for your  rear facing seat so you can have the base in both cars and the stroller.  That will give you time to decide on another car seat for bigger baby.  Or you can just register for all of that if you have lots of folks to buy stuff!    I guess I'll get called gift grabby after that, but I DOOOON't CAAAARE.  I'm in rare form today!

  If I were you, I'd register for a second base for the infant seat and then add a convertible carseat to the registry for later on.  I don't think you need two strollers.

  Wait on the convertible seat, you won't need it for like 8months. The one stroller is fine. We have an umbrella stroller and I have never used it. We take my van everywhere and thus only have one seat for DS. We had two, but never used DHs.

  We are just going to register for the travel system and an extra base. That way we can put a base in each car. We will bet the larger seat when it gets close to time to use it due to storage concerns.

  I asked the same question on a Facebook group. Within that group, the verdict seemed to be register for:

  1. Travel system

  2. Cheap stroller (like $20, thin fabric type stroller)

  3.  Toddler carseat
