XP: Good morning, girls

I had my followup with OB last Wednesday. Urine test is still positive (which is tough to take) but my betas are down to about 84. I have to take a HPT next Wednesday (even tougher to take) and if it's negative I can start my BCPs. Now I haven't taken them in over 2 years so I'm "new" to it again. It's a kind I've never tried before. It's called Lo Loestren (or something like that). My OB said it's low in estrogen and my periods will be pretty light, which I'm fine with. So I asked her, "So I start these on the first day of my next period?" She told me no, that I can start them right away if my HPT is negative next Wednesday. Does that sound right? Anyone else use this brand? I'm a little lost. I'll be asking her next week, regardless but I'm curious now..

On a lighter note:

My brother's wedding was incredibly beautiful! I am so happy to have a sister-in-law that we all adore. Although I was so sad to leave there. It was like how I felt after my own wedding was over. The trip and wedding was exactly what I/we needed. And today I'm back to work...so far it's been ok.

Just wanted to check in real quick and to start easing back onto TTCAL and PAL and lurking/supporting on PgAL. Love you girls! (HUGS for all today)

    Hi Quig! Glad your brothers wedding went well!

    I have not been on that brand of bcp but all of the brands I've been on you just started whenever to begin.

    It is good to hear from you, Quigly. I am glad you were able to get away for your brother's wedding. I think about you often and send you, your family, and sweet Liam many prayers.

    It's pretty normal for HPTs to still be coming up positive. It takes awhile for the hormones to work their way out. I know for my 11w mmc it took like two weeks to get a BFN...which was bittersweet to see.

    I'm so glad you had a great time at the wedding. It's great to see you here.

    Hi! Good to "see" you. I was on Loestrin24 and loved it. Short, light periods. Starting it without a period first sounds about right. ((hugs)) Glad the wedding was fun!
