How does your toddler soothe him/herself?

DD is a thumb sucker AND a hair twirler. She will also take a little section of her hair and brush it against her eyes or nose. Who else has a kid with odd soothing habits?

DS runs his fingers through his hair as he's trying to go to sleep at night and for naps.

she eats a corner of her blanket. just ONE corner. torn to shreds. go figure. she will 'search' for her corner until she finds it when we read stories and then all is right in the world.

She sucks on the back of hand and/or does a kind of sucking motion with her mouth.

thumb sucker and loves putting his fingers through hair...and he's a head banger (seriously). He's been a head banger since about 9 months and it's now just starting to peak. I can tell he does it when he's pissed or tired.

She rotates pacis. And sometimes her cup. She lays in bed with a paci in each hand and one in her mouth (or cup) and she swaps them around every few minutes. She also sits up and then lays back down a lot.
