I am FTM and trying to figure out which one of these I need. I definitely can't afford to buy all 3.
I am planning on having the LO sleep in the PNP (the one with bassinet attachment) in our room for the first few months.
Is RNP necessary? My friend swore by Cradle N Swing. Which one in addition to PNP would you sugest I get?
Re: Pack N Play / Rock N Play and Cradle N Swing - so many choices!
my only concern is the overnight sleep in the RNP. Also, PNP seems something they could play in/sleep in for longer then the RNP.
I have five kids, and have never used a rock n play, but have used a pack n play. My oldest slept in one for the first few months.
I use a Mamaroo bouncy seat. We actually have two and a cradle swing snugabunny.
The PNP has the longest life. I would start with that and if you find you need something else after the baby comes, you can make that decision then. The PNP is great for traveling up to 2ish years (weight limit is usually around 30lb), makes a great place to safely put a mobile baby when you need to leave the room, and makes an awesome ball pit!
You can only use the RNP for 4-6mo usually. My kid didn't like the RNP and I really hated it when he was a newborn because it caused chin to chest for him.
Swing is a thing that some kids love and some don't. My first son loved it my second didn't really care for it. Maybe you can wait and try one out with your LO before buying one.
