The latest ailment I have noticed is a sore tailbone. Anyone have this? When I get up from my chair at work, or even when sitting at home, if feels like I have a bruised tail bone! May be time to buy a donut to sit on LOL!
I'm 13 weeks and have had this for a few weeks now. I asked my doc and he said that when i had my first I could have dislocated my tail bone or really bruised it during birth. With the streching and moving of things the pain can return. If it gets really bad then they will send me to physical therapy.
If I'm not on a padded chair or cushion I get uncomfortable if I stay sitting a while. I just try to walk around from time to time and that seems to help, but I understand what you're dealing with.
This has been my main issue/pain since last week. I have an office job so it's been extremely painful and uncomfortable for me to sit, to the point that I had to elevate my computer and keyboard so I can work standing up. That only works for so long though, because then my feet start aching. I finally asked DH to get me a coccyx pillow (donut cushion) during lunch today and it's helped a bit. It's still sore, but I am able to sit for a much longer period of time.
I had this recently after sitting at my desk at work. I bought a special cushion that has a little wedge cut out in the back where the tailbone is and put it on my desk chair at work. The pain at the end of the work day went away.
I also have this. I read that it is actually not our tailbone, but something to do with our ligaments and hips spreading preparing for childbirth. I will try to find the article. I think it was on the bump or fit pregnancy. BUt it hurts!!!!
This happens to me daily and my doctor said its bc my spine is adjusting as baby grows. He printed me off a list of stretches to do and those have helped. Also, I see a chiropractor and the adjustments help.

Re: Sore tailbone
Yes, I have this. I am 25 weeks. It comes and goes for me.
I notice it more when I am walking a lot. Pressure from baby, maybe?
