Anyone on progesterone supplements?

Hey guys just trying to get a fill! I am 7 weeks and my hcg levels are good they said and my progesterone levels are good... However they dropped from 18 to 12 in a week . Is this normal? She said they won't put me on the supplement until I'm 10 weeks :/ nervous!!

    Hi. I'm a little confused. She WON"T put you on until week 10? That is around the time your placenta takes over and most people STOP taking it. I've been on it 3 times a day vaginally since week 5 and was told to stop at week 10. However, 18 is a pretty good number and your progesterone numbers can vary every hour so just because it was a little lower doesn't mean it was bad. She still should have put you on them. I am not sure why she would wait until week 10...very strange.

    I have been on them since 4 weeks.  My progesterone went from 22 to 19 so as a per-caution they put me on them.  After week 12 the placenta takes over and you won't need progesterone so that's weird that they are waiting to put you on it......

    Yeah - I have been on them and I am stopping at 10 weeks...

    Okay great!! That makes me feel better! I talked to the doc assistant maybe she didnt know what she was talking about!! I'm going to def ask my midwife !! Thanks ladies!
