I was finishing up graduate school and desperately searching for a job to no avail. I probably received 25 rejection letters. Luckily I found a job after 8 months and I still like to look back at those rejection letters sometimes. I was still dating my DH and living in a trailer court. Ahh, good times!
I was in my junior year of college, DH and I just officially got engaged and I was trying to decide whether I wanted to go to graduate school or go into the corporate world. The economy decided for me and I went to graduate school.
DH and I were engaged and had just moved in with each other. I was just starting to work night shifts at the hospital. He was working on his graduate degree.
Heh heh, I had just broken up with a guy after an awful two week relationship. He is now married to my friend and they are expecting their first child. I like to think I got them together.
And I was about to start thinking about my DH in a new way... We'd been friends for a while, and I set him up with a friend of mine. They went on a couple of dates but didn't hit it off, and I was cross with her when she said she didn't like him. We got together a couple of weeks later and there was mad chemistry from the start!
(Weird part: the friend I set up with DH is married to the guy I'd just broken up with!)
I was 21! I was an undergrad studying HR. My DH, BF at the time, and I just moved back into his townhouse (long story), and starting the long, brutal fight for custody of his DD, which we eventually won btw. I was thinner then =(
on leave from grad school, working at the same place, just finalized the divorce from my ex h
in a fairly unhappy relationship a guy in a relatively successful band and letting him pay for me to go on totally extragavant international trips w him
I had just turned 21 but my partying was settling down. My husband, boyfriend at the time, were thinking about buying a place together, but months later changed our minds and decided to wait. I was working full timr and a full time student.
I was in my first year of teaching and forced into a transfer to hs due to
Enrollment. I was crushed. Turns out it was a great thing to have happen! DH and I were about to close on our house and celebrate our first year anniversary. It was almost time for our 5 yr class reunions.
I had just gotten engaged to DH on a gondola ride in Venice, Italy. I was full time working in a career/job I loved - little did I know about the corporate changes ahead that would make my SAH decision a no-brainer.

I was a Junior
I was just a couple months away from a drivers license. Now I go hold my head down in shame of being the baby of the board.
I was fatter then. . . or well, pregnant with DD.
I'm still going with I'm skinner today than I was 5 years ago.
