Well the RE called today with some bad news. He said pathology looked at the sample from my hysteroscopy/D & C last week and says it is atypical hyperplasia (They sent it to Mayo for them to check too). He said it is pretty much the stage before endometrial cancer. He made sure and said many times that I don't have cancer, It is in a treatable stage, just that if we did nothing, it would become cancer.
He said if I were done having kids they would just do a hysterectomy. Since we have no kids and want to, the treatment will probably be megace for a few months and then do a repeat D & C to check if it worked.
He told me he has had patients that have done this and gone on to have kids. So that's reassuring, but I can't stop crying. I have an appointment to see a gynecologic oncologist next Friday. At least they got me in soon.

After 1 year of infertility, our little miracle was conceived via our 3rd IUI on May 5, 2013.
Holland Sophia was born Jan 24, 2014.
I'm very sorry about the news your received. I'm glad it's in a treatable stage, and it sounds like they have a good tentative plan in place. I'm so sorry. You are in T&Ps. ((hugs)) I'm sure it's been a very hard day.

BFP #1: 2/15/12-Ectopic/Mtx at 6 wks
BFP #2: 10/12/12-m/c at 5 wks.
Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies. ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts.
Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy. Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!
TTC since Sept 2011, Unexplained IF
Oct 12 - Jan 14: 3 clomid/TI cycles, 2 hysteroscopies, 2 IUIs, 1 BFP (MMC @ 12w), 2 more IUIs
Feb 14: Gonal-f + IUI #5 = BFP! (EDD 11/4/14)
Baby boy arrived 11/13/14!
TTC #1 since March 2011
1 medicated TI cycle & 4 clomid IUIs = all BFNs
DS1 born 2/14
TTC #2 since December 2014
May 2015 unassisted BFP ended in m/c at 7wks
April 2016 FET #1 = BFN
June 2016 FET #2 = c/p
August 2016 FET #3 = BFP!

Rx: Metformin 500mg
Cycle #1: Clomid 100mg + Ovidrel = No Response, Canceled
Cycle #2: Clomid 150mg + Ovidrel = No Response, Canceled
Cycle #3: Clomid 150mg + Follistim + Ovidrel = No response, Canceled
Cycle #4: Femara 7.5mg + Gonal-f + Ovidrel + IUI = BFP!!!!

DX: PCOS, Stage III Endo, slight Adenomyosis, blocked tube, and probable LPD
Treatments: 6 Months Lupron Depot injections; 1500 mg metformin; 3 cycles of Clomid + TI = BFN
3 endometrial biopsies all were "out of phase"
September - December, 2013: Break to lose weight and get healthy
40 lb weight loss but still not ovulating "in phase"
February - March 2014: bcps + follistim + trigger + TI = BFP
Beta #1 (12dpo): 30; Beta #2 (18dpo): 500; Beta #3 (25dpo): 7,000!!!
1st u/s 4/16: One beautiful hb at 144 bmp
2nd u/s 4/29: hb at 166 bmp. Graduated from RE!!

Dx: Unexplained Infertility, probable endometriosis

May - September 2013: Follistim + Ovidrel + IUI#1-4 = BFN
IVF # 1 November 2013: transferred 1 perfect blast = BFN
IVF # 2 April 2014: Endo scrape, transferred 2 blasts = BFP!! (first ever!), CP
FET #1 June 2014: transferred 2 blasts = BFFN
New Dx: Repeat Implantation Failure

Hysteroscopy (normal) and PCOS labs (negative/normal) 1/15/2013
2/1/13- HPT BFP but Beta Hcg was negative
Plan: Femara + Trigger + IUI in April if no real BFP before then Bloggy Blog!
