Wow, what a meeting! He was fantastic, which I figured he would be. We decided to go ahead with Dr. Albert Peters at Sher institute of NJ. He went over all of the cycles and history, and made mention that he was pleasantly surprised with my husband's dx (OATS) and that he had undecended testicle he was expectiong hundreds of sperm, the fact that hubbs had millions, he said ivf should bypass all of that. He thinks there is def. something else going on. He mentioned my AMH concerns him (.09) and anything over 2 is good, but the rest of my numbers were really good, so he is thinking it may not be accurate in my case the AMH because my fsh etc very normal like a 20 something year old. He is doing a workup tom am on all that plus some testing never had done, Lupus anticoagulent,anticardiolipin antibody, anti phosphotidye serine. I also will be doing killer cell tom ($500 later sigh). He immediately suggested that my protocal is what might have been the issue, I was antiganist all 3 cycles, he thinks I should do lupron cycle, based on his reasons it made sense. He did advise 3rd cycle should have been stopped and never gone through with ER, it was a bad cycle and embryos were crap, he thinks eggs I had left were fried, and thinks ganerlix is what might be the issue.Will know for sure when do testing tom. since I am cd3, he wants to do and see me 5/29. Looks like July will be final cycle. Thought it was going to be in fall, aparently not lol.
I have so many mixed emotions, the fact he did not mention donor, that we were missing pieces, (why wasn't some of this stuff done?) gives me hope, and that my gut was right all along. I guess today answered my question as to if I was going to give up and move on, or give it one more shot. I am doing it one last time, and going out with a bang. He mentioned the CGH testiong, but Idk if I can do $5k. I prob. won't do that, but everything else yes. Thanks for having me over here and listening to this big ol story. 5th cycle here I come apparantly.

WOW! Sounds like a promising 2nd opinion. I'm happy for you and hoping that this 5th cycle will be different. So good to feel like you're shaking things up. It gives one hope.

Long story: trying on our own + testing testing testing with 6 rounds of Clomid, more testing, injectables + TI, laparoscopy - one tube blocked, 2 IUIs with Follistim...BFNs.
RPL testing all normal, Karyotyping normal
Moving on to IVF.
IVF #1 April 2012 = BFN, IVF #2 June 2012 = BFP. U/S 7/23 = saw heartbeat but measuring behind. Follow up U/S on 7/30 - no heartbeat. D&C 8/2. Trisomy 12. IVF #3 Oct 2012 = Chemical Pregnancy
Phone consult with CCRM on 12/12/12 - ODWU 1/4/13 - both tubes clear(!) - AFC 24, AMH 3.2, FSH 9.6, LH 5.4, E2 25. DH has high frag rate but improved!
IVF #4 March 2013 CCRM. EP protocol w/ Menopur, Gonal-F & Dexamethasone. ER 3/29 & IMSI, PICSI. 43R 13M 10F 6blasts bio'd. CCS testing reveals 3 normals!!!
FET 5/31/13 of 1 4AA blast - thawed and expanded. 4dp5dt BFP.
Beta 9dp5dt = 181, 11dp5dt = 427. 1st u/s showed a healthy heartbeat! EDD 2/16/14
After 4 years of hoping and heartbreak, our sweet little bean was born on 2/19/14

Me (34)- no issues found MH (36)- MFI due to Vericocele. Straight to IVF w/ICSI 9/12, Antagonist. 9R, 7M, 5F = BFN c/p, New RE for IVF #2- 1/13., Long Lupron. ER on 1/22 -10R, 9M, 9F. Transfer on hold due to overstimming. FET in Feb. 2 frozen blasts. Another BFN & another c/p. RPL testing all negative besides MTHFR gene, vericocle repair surgery 4/12/13-Bilateral Grade 3 Vericocele found & fixed, IVF #3 with PGS 4/13- 11R, 9M, 9F. Transferred 2 normal=BFN, 3 normal on ice. CCRM-here we come! ODWU-All test results normal. EPP in August. 21R, 20M, 19F. 12 blasts biopsied & frozen for CCS testing. Results showed 11 normal! FET Oct. 30. 2 5d 4AA blasts transferred. First ever BFP!!! Beta 1=216, Beta 2=870 1st U/S=It's TWINS!!! It's a BOY and a GIRL!! Everyone Welcome!!!
