Thank you!! I'll take as many good vibes as I can get right now. I feel behind, overwhelmed, and there's definitely some sadness too.

I think the scariest part is me and J driving by ourselves for 4+ hours - we've never done it, just he and I. Hopefully I have enough snacks, toys, movies, and cds for him!

You guys will be fantastic! Once you get in that mode of "this is it!" That drive will go smoothly!

When L and I would drive home, I packed a small laundry basket of toys and snacks and put it on the passenger seat. When she would get bored with what ever she had, I would hand the next one over.

That's the exact plan ld - great minds think alike! I have a bin that I pulled a few things out of when we were packing his stuff, so he hasn't seen them in 2-3 weeks.

The drive will be the easy part, lol. Packing, unpacking, moving, that's the part I hate. My last car ride with Augie I planned all this fun stuff and then he slept most of the time!

I strung fruit loops on pipe cleaners and that was a lot of fun for him. It was an activity and a snack all in one.

We are. I'm just hoping it's not raining. If it is, I don't know of any fast food areas around that have play places (we're going a backway through WV, so not many places to stop)
