We started dating when I was 22, engaged, 26, married 27 and got pregnant at 29 and had my first son at 30. I am 31 and trying for the second. I think your IL are right in saying you should enjoy each other, but I think two years is long enough at your age. Good luck and hope you get a positive preggo test soon!

We got married when I was 26, now I am 27 ttc. Don't worry about what they say. YOu guys know what's right for you.

I like this thread, it's interesting to see at what age everyone got married. It's funny, articles are saying that this generation of people are getting married later than our parent's gen but I got married younger than my parents did. Of course it's different for everyone.

DH and I are the same age and were married at 22. TTC #1 both age 26 now.

I was 26 when I got married, and 28 when I had my son. I'm hoping to have #2 at the age of 30.

We started dating when I was 19, got married when I was 26, came off the pill when I was 29, actively started TTC when I was 30. I am now 31 and we're still trying for #1. He's 3 years older than me. When you feel ready, then that's when time time is right. Not when others around you dictate it.
