DH usually cooks, although I'm not bad at it, he just loves cooking. Anyway, I want to cook tonight so that he and I can just sit together, eat, and watch our TiVoed DWTS results tonight. To do that I need a casserole or something similar. I'm too tired and fried to look sh!t up, so I'm hoping one of you lovely ladies can rescue me.
Please give me a casserole, or really anything one pot/pan happy, recipe! I don't care how long cooking time is (as long as it doesn't need much attention), but prep time needs to be under 20 mins. Thanks!
Re: Casserole?
Sorry cant make it clicky. It's seriously the best baked ziti recipe. I don't make the sides that go with it so it's way under 20 minutes prep.

How about chili? Brown 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef or turkey and a small diced onion; drain. Add 8 oz. tomato sauce, 1 1/2 c. water, 1 T. chili powder, 1 t. cumin, 1 t. seasoned salt, 1/2 t. cayenne, and 2 cans of beans (I like 1 can kidneys and 1 can black). Simmer at least an hour.
If you have other veggies, you can add those (I like peppers and zucchini in chili), too, but that would add prep time. Also, those spice measurements are just a starting point; I really just kind of dump spices in until it tastes good.
