Poor little Cub isn't going to make it. At 8w1d, I officially have a blighted ovum. There is a little something in there by the yolk sac that may have been the start of a fetal pole, but it obviously didn't progress. I'll be stopping progesterone tonight, and taking cytotec on Friday, if needed. Hopefully it won't come to a D&C, as my uterus really doesn't need a fourth surgery (cone biopsy, D&C, and c-section). Thanks for all of your support ladies.
In related fun news, my OB, who I like and was slightly amused by this morning, is now calling me a walking textbook of early loss. I've had a natural m/c at 12w (unknown baby status), a suspected ectopic that may have actually been an incomplete m/c with 13w of decreasing beta hell after methotrexate x2, a D&C after my twins' hearts stopped at 9w (technically a missed m/c, even though we saw them 3 days before and 3 days after), a c/p, and now a blighted ovum. If anyone has any questions about early loss, I may have an answer for you.
It breaks my heart to say goodbye to a sixth baby. Rest in peace my little polar bear Cub.
