Since we were talking about salads in the food post - do your kids eat salad?
Tatum will eat potato salad or pasta salad or tuna/chicken salad, but a lettuce-based garden salad? Nope. She'll eat the cucumbers and tomatoes and other raw veggies out of it, but she doesn't like raw spinach or lettuce. Or raw fresh herbs, for that matter - I was picking and eating basil leaves off the plant in my kitchen while she was eating dinner the other day, and I gave her one, but she spit it right back out at me.
Re: Kids eating salads?
Augie doesn't like potatoes, pasta, chicken, or veggies, lol. So that pretty much rules out all salads previously listed : )
He loves "veggies and dip" but what he loves is licking the dip off the veggies. *sigh*
I always offer when I'm having a salad. And I have them frequently so it's not like they are foreign to him.
If you count sucking the dressing off and spitting out the lettuce/spinach, then yes, DD loves salad.
It's actually the same method my dog has in eating salad, which is unfortunate since it means he won't pick up the discarded lettuce for me.
Yeah, same here - at least they're eating veggies, right?!
But she loves everything else [tomatoes, cucumbers, cottage cheese, shredded cheese, chicken, ranch, olives, carrots, and croutons..LOVES croutons]
This is Ry too. Who doesn't like pasta?!?! What's wrong with these kids?!?!
