Missed miscarriage

We went in today at 14w5d for a regular checkup. They couldn't find the heartbeat the last appt so we were excited to hear it. When she couldn't find it she sent us for an ultrasound. We learned that our baby stopped developing at 8 weeks. I had no cramping, no bleeding, and still had symptoms, so we were caught completely off guard. I am going for a d c tomorrow morning. I am just devastated and can't believe it. This was the last thing we were expecting. I had no idea you could miscarry and have zero symptoms. I've wanted to be a mom for as long as I can remember and am so sad...

I am terribly sorry for the pain you are feeling. Words will not help, but know that there are people praying for you and your SO. I had a missed miscarriage and it is a cruel joke in my opinion. Oh my goodness! Sooooo sad:. I had a missed miscarriage at 20 weeks in dec 2011. I was feeling very much pregnant till the day we found out. My heart goes out to you. Time will heal the pain. Hope u get a rainbow baby soon.

I am so sorry this happened to you. The same thing happened to me. I found out at 12 weeks that the baby stopped developing at 9 weeks and I was still having symptoms too. You are in my thoughts.
