GTKY: If you're planning ahead, what nursery theme do you have in mind for your next LO? For a boy, I want to do woodland creatures or under the sea. Eli was jungle so I'm sticking with the animals theme. For a girl I want to do owls and birds and LOTS of pink!

How are you feeling emotionally about TTC?: I feel good. I am really enjoying charting and knowing what my body is up to.

I guess technically we are TTC. We have been "trying" since Oct but no luck so far. I got pregnant with Caroline the first month. I'm not temping or anything but we are not using protection and we would love to be pregnant again. I don't temp because I have never done it before and I read you have to do it first thing in the morning before you get out of bed. Is this true? I just can't remember to do anything when I first wake up.

Yes - you're supposed to do it when you get out of bed. How it works for me is that I get up with DH when he goes to work around 4 - so even on his days off/weekends I set my alarm for 4 to temp. I set the thermometer onto of my alarm and when it goes off, I actually grab it. Lol. Then I just temp and write down my temperature. Depending on the day, I either get up or go back to sleep.

ETA: Also, I'd highly recommend charting. Even if you don't temp, you can always check your CM and use OPKs (You can get them cheap on Amazon) to better see when you're ovulating to time your sex right. You can sign up by clicking the link to someone's chart - it's free.

Thanks! I go for my yearly tomorrow and I will talk to my OB about it all tomorrow and if this isn't our month I will start temping next month. I wake up first, with my alarm going off at 5:30 but I snooze until 5:45. I need to get in the habit of doing it first thing in the morning.

Where are you in your cycle (Waiting to O, 2ww, Waiting for AF, Other?): I think Waiting to O. I had a bad cold last week, so my temps have been really wacky. Also, I have not been good about using my OPK's...last cycle I o'ed on CD 26, so we will see...!

How are you feeling emotionally about TTC?: I am not thinking about it as much this cycle as I was last cycle because I have been so busy. So, if I get another BFN, that is ok, will try again next month!

How are you feeling emotionally about TTC?: I am excited and nervous. Being I didn't get pregnant last month I was a bit bummed, but now I am nervous about having another baby due the same month of LO.

Anything else to add?: Are you guys nervous about having another baby on your LO's birthday. My phantom due date is LO 2nd birthday, I am wondering if we need to wait another month. I know the likelyhood of them being born on the same day is rare but I'm a bit nervous

-When are you testing?: tested yesterday and today- BFN. Boo! I'm so confused... I had what I thought was implantation spotting (pinkish-brownish and only when I wiped) on Friday and Saturday with very minor period-like cramps. Then, that all stopped and now nothing. No BFP and no AF. Now, I'm just waiting.

What supplements or med are you taking, if any?: prenatal gummies and iron

GTKY: If you're planning ahead, what nursery theme do you have in mind for your next LO? We did a monkey theme with DD, so we will use that again with the next one. We picked a gender neutral theme knowing we'd use it again.

How are you feeling emotionally about TTC?: Angry/Frustrated/depressed. I made a doctor appointment for one issue, ended up having a different one by the time my appointment arrived. Went back for a follow-up two weeks later and had a NEW problem. Just want my regular cycles to come back!

I did have it with this new pregnancy. For me it was 8 and 9 DPO, pretty heavy spotting and cramps, like right before you get AF. But then on day 10 it completely stopped, and on Day 11 I got my BFP. Everything I've read said it shouldn't have been so heavy. Maybe 11 DPO is just too early for you? I felt really queasy on 10 and 11 DPO which is why I tested. My fingers are crossed for lots of Jan babies!

So-so. Still trying to ignore it

Anything else to add?: Developments this month: DD cut out her last feeding last week (middle of the night), so I am looking forward to my hormones getting all back to normal. Plus now my body is my own and I feel free to truly focus on #2. I have to say too it is starting to enter our conversation more. We obsessed about it so much the first time that I think it held us back, so that's why I'm trying to be so laid back. But the talk is in conversation now. I don't temp now, maybe in a few months might start doing that...
