Chewing on bottle

So my LO chews on the nipple of the bottle sometimes. All day yesterday she was pretty whiny and always wanted a bottle. She ate ok but mostly just chewed on the nipple and she sometimes would take a paci and did the same thing. Anyone else have a LO doing this?

    My dd does this too! Normally if she chews the bottle I just give her the paci as well. I have no idea why she does this though

    Could it just be comfort nursing?

    My dd does this too. She will eat some then just chew on the nipple instead of sucking. I usually take it out of her mouth then try to give it again. Sometimes she will start sucking again sometimes she just chews again. If she chews then I assume she's full and just take it away. Sometimes she will sleep for a min or two then want it again. Maybe she just gets wore out from the sucking and needs a rest. Lol

    Definitely not comfort nursing or sucking. She is like seriously gnawing on it as hard as she can
