How is life in your new home?

It's good! We're working on settling in still. We have a quote to put new cabinets in the kitchen and we already bought appliances. We still have boxes and stuff to put away, carpet to rip up, and wall paper to remove.

How are things with you?! How is baby boy? Are DD1 and 2 adjusting? When's your move date again?

A new kitchen sounds awesome - Sounds a lot more fun than the new roofing we're getting. lol

I will need your tips and advice on wall paper removal. Our new house has some in just about every single room and I intend to get rid of all of it.

We get the keys to our new place on May 18, but we don't have to hand over our keys to our buyers until the 31st, so we hired movers for the 30th. I guess that makes our move-in date the 30th. I'm hoping we are done with the painting, wall-paper-ripping, etc. by the time we move in.

Things here are all right. We are slowly but surely adjusting - Trying to keep up with the girls' routine is hard, but we're doing it. Took them to swim class yesterday morning, then treated them to Dairy Queen for dessert last night, spent plenty of time outside and even took the whole gang to run errands today. So yeah, we're beat. But happy

If it works for you!! Our last house had paint over wall paper in several places. You could see the lines from the wall paper. I painted over it again because I totally wasn't going to remove wall paper that had paint over it!

Two weeks to move in would be amazing. We were homeless for one night when we moved. Is your H handy? Or are you going to hire someone?

One of my new neighbors said she removed a ton of wall paper in her house by using a mixture of fabric softener and water. I've also heard vinegar and water works. I'll let you know which works for us.

Taking three kids around all weekend sounds exhausting!

You can actually do that?

yeah. You can totally still see the lines if you look but the wallpaper was really the and cheap and adhered directly to the drywall, so there was no removing it.
