Newbie Intro

Hey everyone! I've been lurking on the Bump for about a week now and have posted a couple times. I figured I'd better officially introduce myself so everyone can get to know me! My hubby and I have been married since September 2011 and decided to TTA a year. I'm a Peds nurse so being around the cute babies all the time eventually gave me baby fever by July 2012. But DH wanted to wait the whole yr so we started TTC in September 2012. Everything was normal at first and my periods were regular but around month 4, my body decided to rebel and now my cycles are 31 to 50 days long. So it's a guessing game with ovulation. In my naivete, I thought it would only take a couple months to get pregnant so I'm starting to get frustrated with myself and my body. I know I shouldn't be concerned til the one yr marker so I'm trying not to obssess... which is not easy with my type A personality lol ...and trying to stay positive. I've started charting my BBTs and doing OPKs ...can I just say I'm so proud of myself for finally understanding most of the TB language? Lol ...so we will see what happens! Just wanted to get involved in a group where we can support each other and give receive advice.

 Eta: wow apparently my phone won't let me use parenthesis so I had to make changes so the post made sense
