Maternity clothes other than Motherhood Maternity?

Hey ya'll! I am graduating from college on May 16, and I am 17 weeks 3 days pregnant, and am having difficulty finding a nice dress that fits nicely. I want to buy a dress that I can wear when I get bigger. I have a bump right now, and every non-maternity dress I tried on looked weird on me because of the bump. I've checked out Motherhood Maternity, but their dresses are sooo ugly, and most of them are too big! I am in this in between regular sizes and maternity clothes. Any kind of dress or brand I can wear, and still look nice??

  • You could try looking at the maternity clothes in Target, they have some cute stuff. Also if this store is near you, A Pea in a Pod, they have some stuff (but I think they are a little expensive)

Maxi dresses or most any non-maternity empire waist will be comfy and cute.

  • Great! Thanks ya'll! This is my first pregnancy, so I wasn't really too sure what to look for.

  • Hi, I'm 20 weeks and have a bump for sure now. I just bought the cutest maxi dresses at Macy's by American Rag. About $50-60 but totally something you could wear during pregnancy and after. There is a really cute coral/white stripe one that's super flattering for the boobs and bump :)

This.  I've been wearing regular maxi dresses since it's been so nice out.  I do size up on some regular dresses now to account for my increasing bust line.

    this is what I'm doing.

to make it look more maternity, tie a ribbon at your bra strap.

I bought a really cute dress from More of Me Maternity. It was pricy, but worth it. I also agree with everyone who says that Pea and a Pod has cute stuff.

  • Have you been in the actual Motherhood Maternity store? I found about 5 dresses there the other day that were so incredibly cute, but when I had looked online before, there wasn't one single dress that I liked at all. So if you haven't, I'd suggest that. :) Other than that, I don't really know haha.

  • I have a wedding I am going to in two weeks and one two weeks after I deliver I just bought this dress and I think its perfect for both. It's not maternity so I can wear it whenever after and because of the style it fits the bump I have great.

  • I found a ton of cute maternity stuff at H & M including three dresses
  • Old Navy, Burlington Coat Factory, K-Mart, Target, JcPenney, Ross
  • My favorite place to buy maternity clothes has been Target, the Liz Lange collection. I have about four dresses from her line and three maternity shirts.I get compliments on them often. From Motherhood Maternity I've only purchased pregnancy pants.
